What is NEN 7510?
NEN 7510 is a national standard that describes how healthcare organisations should responsibly handle confidential information. The standard sets clear requirements in terms of:
Protected access to systems
Inspection and control over who has access to what data
Risk management and incident handling
Awareness and training within the organisation
The goal is clear: to protect sensitive information from unauthorised access or inadvertent dissemination.
