Cube is NEN 7510 certified.

In a world where data is becoming increasingly important and sensitive, careful handling of it is essential. Especially when it comes to medical or personal information. This is why Cube is officially NEN 7510 certified: the Dutch standard for information security in care. An important step which demonstrates that security, reliability and privacy are structurally interwoven in our organisation and in the solutions we build.

Cube is NEN 7510 gecertificeerd

What is NEN 7510?

NEN 7510 is a national standard that describes how healthcare organisations should responsibly handle confidential information. The standard sets clear requirements in terms of:

  • Protected access to systems

  • Inspection and control over who has access to what data

  • Risk management and incident handling

  • Awareness and training within the organisation

The goal is clear: to protect sensitive information from unauthorised access or inadvertent dissemination.

Why this certificate matters.

For healthcare institutions and other organisations working with privacy-sensitive data, it is crucial to be able to rely on partners who take information security seriously. With the NEN 7510 certification, Cube shows that we meet the highest standards in this field, and that we invest structurally in secure processes, systems and practices.

Integration with existing policies.

Many requirements of NEN 7510 overlap with those of ISO 27001, the international standard for information security. As Cube is already certified for ISO 27001, a solid foundation was already in place. For the additional healthcare-specific requirements, we expanded and sharpened our information security policy. The result? A management system in which health information is securely processed, stored and shared.

Hoe Cube data veiligheid en integriteit waarborgt in digitale software oplossingen

Information security as a core requirement.

Continuous improvement according to the PDCA cycle.

Information security is not a one-off exercise, but an ongoing process. Annually, we go through the full ISO cycle, following the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) principle:

  1. Plan: Set goals and make plans

  2. Do: Execute processes and projects

  3. Check: Monitor, evaluate and gather feedback

  4. Act: Implement improvement measures and make optimisations

This iterative approach helps us to continuously improve, manage risks and structurally strengthen safety within our organisation.

Information security in software development.

As a software partner, we build solutions that are future-ready, including all today's security requirements. Our NEN 7510 certification underlines that we not only work according to best practices, but also formally meet the strict requirements from the healthcare sector.

In this way, we remain a reliable partner for organisations working with complex and sensitive data.

Our NEN 7510 certification underlines that in this we not only follow best practices, but comply with a formal standard in line with the highest requirements within healthcare.
