Business Consultant (dutch speaking)

32 - 40 hours Oldenzaal

You feel right at home in a role that combines strategic thinking, advising, and persuasion. Whether it’s deepening an existing partnership or convincing a new client of the value of custom software, you know how to steer the conversation and move it forward. Does that sound like the right fit for you? If so, be sure to read on.

Business team - Data Management Platform

What are you going to do?

You’ll serve as the commercial point of contact for both clients and colleagues. As a strategic sparring partner, you’ll quickly grasp processes and business logic, clearly map them out, and translate them into smart software solutions.

You ensure that we understand exactly what the client needs and that they know what to expect from us. You contribute ideas and provide advice on custom software, integrations with off-the-shelf products, or a combination of both, and you always clearly communicate the added value of Cube. You ask the right questions, map out processes and requirements, and develop them into a solid proposal.

You maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients and continue to build on them. At the same time, you’ll approach potential clients with a pitch that aligns with their goals. You’ll work closely with colleagues on the business team, as well as with project managers, designers, and developers. Once the technical implementation begins, you’ll hand the baton over to a project team but remain involved in the process and the client relationship.

You’ll have a lot of freedom to shape your role and the opportunity to truly make a difference in our interactions with our clients. Together, we’re constantly exploring ways to better align our services with market demands.

Leading the way together.

The digital world is constantly changing at a fast pace. For us, this is an opportunity to stay ahead of the curve. Will you join us? Our team consists of experts who combine in-depth knowledge with practical innovation, and who know exactly what it takes to help organizations move forward. We’re resourceful, down-to-earth, approachable, optimistic, committed, and sometimes a little bit stubborn. Collaboration is our top priority: delivering great products together, celebrating successes together, embarking on adventures together, and having fun together. It’s not just technology that connects us, we also place great value on a personal approach, genuine attention, and social interaction.

What we like to see.

  • At least a higher professional education (HBO) level of work and thinking.

  • You have experience in the digital or software sector. This could be from a commercial role at an agency or software company, or from a role in which you were closely involved in the creation, development, or implementation of software solutions.

  • Demonstrable affinity for digital, software, and online services.

  • You’re a connector, have strong social skills, and know exactly how to get a message across.

  • You’re bold, solution-oriented, and results-driven: you create value for clients and know how to turn opportunities into concrete deals for Cube.

  • You ask the right questions, listen attentively, and know how to uncover the true need behind a client’s request.

  • You’re able to work independently, but also collaborate effectively with colleagues from various disciplines.

  • You have a healthy dose of curiosity and actively keep your knowledge of the digital world up to date.

  • An above-average interest in AI and experience with tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, or GitLab Duo is a definite plus. You actively follow industry developments and know how to translate them into practical customer value, smart processes, and feasible digital solutions.

  • You have an excellent command of both spoken and written Dutch and English.

Curious about the application process? Let's walk through it.

Working at Cube. How does that actually work?

Your application

You’re interested in Cube, we’re glad to hear it! We’re always open to new talent and experience. We’re naturally curious, so we’d love to learn all about your skills, motivations, and personality. Don’t hesitate: let us know you’re interested!

The coffee is being brewed

A cover letter is nice, but a good connection with someone says more than a thousand words. So, let’s see if we click! We’ll schedule a meeting and make some coffee. Would you prefer tea or sparkling water? We have those, too! Just be yourself, the rest will fall into place.

Follow-up meeting

Great! The first interview went well for both of us, and we got to know each other a little. What are your thoughts on actually coming to work here? And vice versa? We’d love to explore that further together in this follow-up interview.

Contract offer

Cubedo has hit the mark: it’s a perfect match! We hope you’re just as excited as we are. We’re making you an offer. Take your time to think it over and trust your instincts. Questions? Fire away! We strive to create a work environment where employees feel comfortable and right at home.

Welcome in the Cube!

Let the new adventures begin! The paperwork is signed, and you’re now part of a team that’s growing rapidly. We look forward to creating great things together and are fully confident that everything will work out perfectly! On your first day, you’ll receive a comprehensive onboarding and be assigned a buddy whom you can ask anything to get off to a flying start. We’re excited!

Get to know your future colleagues.

Certainly, Cube is growing and our people are growing with us. So you can grow into a position with more responsibilities or a position with a different content. There are many different possibilities, depending on your knowledge and skills, hard- and softskills and your drive.

Learning on the job, our Hackathons, knowledge development hours, personal training and development programmes; all these contribute to the development of teams and individuals. Do you have a wish or an idea regarding development, training or workshop? Let us know. Then we will see what we can do. Basically, there is a training budget of EUR 750 per year for each team member.

Certification is possible! If you wish to obtain a professional certificate, we will be happy to help you. In recent times, for instance, colleagues have obtained certifications for Laravel, Vue.js and the implementation of the ISO 27001 standard.

Our office is in the heart of Oldenzaal, at the foot of the Plechelmus basilica and opposite the town hall. In front of the door is a large car park where you can park your car. We have multi-year intensive collaborations with clients whose entire digital landscape we manage, and we work on projects with a clear head and tail. Every project is different, and every client has different requirements and starting points. Check the  cases on our website to get a good idea of this, At Cube, we focus on customization and innovation. That keeps our work varied.
