Cube reopens classroom in Oldenzaal.

'Noaberschap' in Twente is a relic of the old, predominantly agrarian, society. Where every citizen had the so-called noaberplicht, to assist your neighbour - in word and deed. This philosophy is reflected in our form of cooperation; we will always suggest the best solution and communicate honestly & directly. Cube started in the modest town of Albergen, where we found our values & work & expanded. In our first real home, an old bank building, our collection of forward-thinking friends soon couldn't fit in the vault. On to a more suitable place....

The Smile of Twente.

That we love historical housing was once again confirmed when we moved to the Gelderman textile mill, anno 1863. However, this iconic Oldenzaal and handsomely renovated office complex did not offer us enough space to grow either, so the search for the perfect premises started all over again a little while later. What we did decide here was that Boeskoolstad would remain our home base.

The old C.V.O. School.

Part of the centre of Oldenzaal since 1886, the school building has had a varied history and touched many local lives. Hopefully, we have restored the site to its former glory and can add a whole new chapter to its history. We are therefore eager to breathe new life into this beautiful building.

We want to do this by linking our modern, digital, business to tasks performed in the past. Thanks to a good century of shared history, we can make a good link between Gelderman, the C.V.O. School and Cube's philosophy.

Make others successful.

Indeed, during the Second World War, the Gelderman firm fed almost all the children attending the C.V.O. School at the time. After the liberation, the textile family once again came to the rescue by making a personal donation to the school.

We hope to make our contribution to a stimulating ecosystem of success by repurposing this landmark building.

Be curious.

Our new office has served as a nest for curiosity for almost 100 years, teaching generations of Oldenzalers here. Then it was the destination for interested visitors to see all the attractions of the boeskool town.

Now we want to make this work by starting our own school, where we train students and invite clients to test new ideas against digital technology. On the ground floor, we have converted the old classrooms into space for projects and School.

Take responsibility.

Carrying out an assigned task with maximum efficiency, practically and competently. Something we link to our down-to-earth Twente standards: calm, competent, realistic and agile. For us, task delivery with maximum efficiency is simply doing things normally, and that's taking responsibility again.

Our Services are developed and maintained on the first floor, from the old office part of the school we deliver our finest customised work.

Learn by doing.

Learning things by doing or experimenting is, of course, part of education. But developing beyond what is taught is playing with the possible, finding out what is possible and confirming your own interpretation. There is room for this in our Lab, where we encourage employees to test ideas, code and concepts against reality & workability.

The 4 Pillars of Cube:

  • Make others successful

  • Be curious

  • Take responsibility

  • Learn by doing

Grow like grain, flourish and go.

In our new chapter, we hope to achieve a lot of high quality and challenging assignments, learn from them, make others successful and innovate recklessly! Will you be on the first page?

Come along and discover how we can continue to grow together, we finally have the space!

See you soon!

Did you go to school here? Worked at the VVV, have some other connection with the premises or are you just curious? We welcome all relatives who want to take a look at our big Open Day. The exact schedule will follow.
