Kickoff: the basis for successful digital strategies
At Cube, we start every collaboration with an in-depth analysis of the business model and the market in which your organisation operates. This first phase, the Kickoff, is not just an introduction, but an opportunity to dive deep into the organisation and its processes.
What is the Kickoff?
The Kickoff is the first, intensive phase of the collaboration in which we gather a lot of information in a short period of time. We work closely together, organise several sessions and use the insights gained to clearly formulate the issue. This preparation ensures that the subsequent process can proceed quickly and effectively. A well-prepared organisation means a greater chance of achieving success. In the Kickoff, we lay the foundations for the development of digital solutions that move your organisation forward.
What is the purpose of the Kickoff?
The aim of the Kickoff is to identify, together with you, the essence of your business operations. We do this by examining different aspects of your organization and its processes. From products and services to partnerships and customer relationships, we map everything to ensure that the digital strategy we develop is a perfect fit for your situation.
Key components of the Kickoff.
Products & services
The first important part is to create an overview of the products and services your organisation provides. What characteristics do these products have? For example, is there a broad product range, and how is it managed? In the case of a product information system (PIM), it is important to know how this system relates to the needs of your organisation. We analyse the efficiency of your current system and work with you to find ways of offering products and services in the most effective way. Our focus here is always on optimising the customer experience by properly structuring and presenting your offering.
Relationship management
Another key element of the Kickoff is examining relationship management within your organisation. How are customer relationships currently managed? Do you already have a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system in place? Or is there perhaps a need to set up such a system? Cube helps you examine how customer relationship management can be improved and automated, for instance by deploying marketing automation tools. We also look at how the follow-up of leads can be made easier and faster, so that your organisation can respond more effectively to customer needs.
Customer segments
Having a clear picture of your customer segments is essential for any organisation. Sprint 0 provides an opportunity to map out different target groups and understand what drives them. What are your customers' buying reasons? What are their specific needs and wants? By examining these customer segments, we can better determine how best to reach these groups with a specific digital strategy.
Unique Selling Points
Every organization has something unique to offer. These quickly emerge during the Kickoff. By making these insightful, it becomes clear how you stand out in the market. What makes your product and/or service so special? Why would customers choose your organization over the competition? We help you make these Unique Selling Points (USPs) clear and translate them into your digital strategy, so that they show the strength and distinction of your organization.
Channels and sources
Once the USPs have been clearly described, it is time to identify the different channels and sources that are important for your organisation. What sources of information are there? How can we retrieve or send data within the distribution chain? Mapping these channels is important for developing a digital strategy that works efficiently and gets all the necessary information to the right people in the right way.
Partners and network
Collaboration with partners often plays an indispensable role in an organisation's success. Therefore, in the Kickoff we also pay attention to your organisation's partners and networks. Who do you currently work with and who would you like to involve in the future? What is the information that needs to be shared between the different partners, and how do we want to exchange this information? We will help you make the collaboration as effective as possible by deploying the right digital tools.
We help corporates move like start-ups, and start-ups grow into corporates.
Let's Kickoff together.
Send a message without obligation, and together we will look at what is possible for your organization.
With guts, pragmatism, and a focus on quality.
Our team. Your team.

Questions? No problem.
We work on a co-creation basis. This means that we work intensively with your team to come up with smart, scalable solutions together. We apply our C-U-B-E model: Create, Invent, Build and Evolve.
As soon as your system is large enough that a single developer can no longer maintain a complete overview, and at the start of any new system where early decisions are costly to change later. That point comes sooner than most teams expect.
A software prototype is a testable version of your idea, created for learning rather than for launch. It allows you to test the user flow, interaction, or technical feasibility early on, before investing in full-scale development.
Our service package consists of a combination of maintenance, management, hosting, support (SLA) and development (strippenkaart). In this way, we ensure that your digital landscape remains secure, up-to-date and future-proof.
At Cube, we work in design sprints. We start by understanding the needs of your target audience and formulate user stories. Then we create wireframes to visualise the structure of the product. Then we develop design concepts, create a clickable prototype and work on refining the UI design. Finally, we provide a style guide and design system to ensure consistency in the final implementation.
That’s possible! The prototype is the first step in a process that we can guide you through all the way to launch. The same team that tests your idea will continue to develop it into an MVP and a fully-fledged, scalable application.
