The underlying data, such as information on players, matches, business club members, supporters and ticket sales, is efficiently managed by the customised Data Management Platform developed for FC Twente.

The FC Twente app, available for both Android and iOS, provides a platform for both supporters and business club members to fully enjoy their club experience. Within the app, users can create both a supporter and business account, giving them access to features such as digital tickets, exclusive team content and the special match mode with live updates. Business club members benefit from additional networking functionalities, making it easy to stay in touch with other members and expand business relationships. This app offers an interactive and personalised experience, further strengthening the bond between the club and its supporters.

Both FC Twente's website and mobile app include a specially designed match mode optimised for match days. In this mode, supporters can follow all important match information, with a live feed of events such as goals, substitutions and statistics. The data is delivered via the Opta API, which ensures accurate and up-to-date information, including formations and other match details. For app users, push notifications are sent for important events, such as goals and cards, so they are always kept up to date, wherever they are.

Among others, the DMP manages data from systems such as Sports Alliance (CRM for supporters), TicketTrigger (ticketing), Opta (match and player data) and Afas (CRM for business members). This integration allows all involved applications to work together optimally, enabling FC Twente to collect, analyse and use data centrally to improve both the fan experience and business operations.
